Novara, 23 October 2014.
The final conference of the TIDES Project (Identification of Threats against critical Infrastructures and Decision Support) took place in Novara in presence of major experts in the sector. Ho2S presented its operational prototype on OSINT and risk detection, aiming at detecting weak and strong signals future malicious events.
TIDES is a project funded by the CIPS EU programme to point out, assess and rank potential threats to critical infrastructures and to identify action plans to reduce risk, preventing the occurrence of critical events or at least mitigating their effects through effective management of the subsequent emergency situations. The project focused on two safety critical applications, regasification plants and rail infrastructures and logistics which are the subject of the two case studies. Based on their analysis, the project has identified the requirements for an advanced tool for threat identification and decision support, together with suitable design methodologies, and the outline of a conceptual design of the tool.
